- 160 g Butter
- 180 g Sugar
- 250 g whole milk Ricotta cheese drained
- 3 Eggs
- 1 zest Orange
- 1 tablespoon Orange juice
- 160 g Self raising flour
Prepare the cake panRub butter in an 8-inch cake pan then line it with baking paper. Cream butter and SugarAdd butter and sugar to a mixing bowl and use an electric mixer to mix until light and pale. Add the drained ricotta cheese to the bowl. Whisk for 4-5 minutes until they are well combined. Make the batterAdd the eggs, orange zest and juice into the bowl and whisk, then add the self raising flour. Mix for 1-2 minutes until all the ingredients are combined. Bake Ricotta Orange cakePour the batter into the prepared cake tin.Bake it in the oven at 170C for 40 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean. Bring it out of the oven and turn it on a cooling rack.When it's cooled, cut and serve.
